National and European Anthems played in the Palace of Belem.
The President of the Republic issued, in the Palace of Belem, a statement alluding to the 50th Anniversary of the Treaties of Rome, which were the stanchions of the European Union.
The President had previously attended the rendering of the National Anthem and of the European Anthem (Ode to Joy) by the Army Band, in the Pátio dos Bichos (an inner patio), in the Palace of Belem, which today is open to the public.
