Meeting with young oenologists
The President of the Republic held an encounter, in the Malhadinha Estate, in Beja, with young oenologists from all the country.
After visiting a wine exhibition, on show in the above Estate, President Aníbal Cavaco Silva addressed the oenologists and other people present.
Later, the President decorated Professors Nuno Magalhães and Olga Laureano, respectively from the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro and from the Higher Institute of Agronomy, with the degree of Commanders of the Order of Agricultural, Commercial and Industrial Merit.
