Presentation of the "EMBRACE" system
In the beginning of the 4th Campaign of the Route to Youth, the President of the Republic visited, in Moura, Alentejo, the Technological Laboratory of the municipal company Lógica, where he received a presentation of a unit of the "EMBRACE" (Electronic Multibeam Radio Astronomy Concept) system.
Located in the Moura Micro Company Admission Centre, the Laboratory employs national and foreign astronomers, as well as researchers and young Portuguese trainees.
Young Entrepreneurs in Rural Areas is the theme of this 4th Route to Youth launched by President Aníbal Cavaco Silva who, in Moura, broached the subject “The young, new challenges of science and dynamics of development ".
After this visit, the President of the Republic was invited to lunch at a local restaurant, where he watched the performance of a group of young musicians, and addressed those present regarding this new campaign of the Route to Youth.
