Visit to Penafiel
The President of the Republic presided at the inaugural act of the Penafiel Municipal Museum, which he then visited, addressing a brief speech in an open air ceremony, after having unveiled a plaque alluding to the event in the interior of the building.
Before the ceremony took place, President Aníbal Cavaco Silva took a walk over several of the city’s streets, where exhibits of the neighbouring counties and of various Penafiel institutions and associations were on show.
