Sustainability of the oceans
The President of the Republic was the guest speaker at the closure of the World Ocean Summit, held in San Francisco, United States.
Received by the Director of The Economist Group, John Micklethwaite, who organized the World Summit jointly with the National Geographic Society, President Cavaco Silva addressed a speech to an audience of several hundred participants from various continents.
Later, a discussion took place between the President of the Republic and his host, which closed the Summit’s work.
