Visiting Caminha
The President of the Republic visited the County of Caminha and the town’s historic centre where he observed the refurbishment carried out and the projects for the renewals now being undertaken.
Walking through the town President Aníbal Cavaco Silva viewed the mediaeval fair that is being held there.
During a ceremony held in the County Hall, a protocol was concluded between the County Council and the Museum of the Presidency of the Republic for the setting up of a future museum in the House of Sidónio Pais.
The President of the Republic addressed a speech when the protocol ceremony was being held.
