Prize award ceremony
The President of the Republic attended, in the Main Hall of Caixa Geral de Depósitos Bank, in Lisbon, the award ceremony of the Literary Life Prize of the Association of Portuguese Authors (APE).
Prize winner was Prof. Doctor Maria Helena da Rocha Pereira, essayist and researcher and considered as an authority in Classical Studies, to whom President Aníbal Cavaco Silva handed the prize.
On the occasion, the President addressed the gathering.
