Gazeta 2008 Prizes awarded at CGD
The President of the Republic attended, in the head office of Caixa Geral de Depósitos, in Lisbon, the annual dinner of the Press Club (Clube de Jornalistas), during which the Gazeta 2008 Prizes were awarded.
Winners included Sofia Leite and António Louçã, RTP reporters, with the Grand Gazeta 2008 Prize, for the documentary "Chorin’s List”, Vítor Rodrigues Oliveira, awarded the Gazeta Revelation Prize, for "Party in Mumbai Today", "Obama’s Plaits" and "Dragon’s Heritage" reports, the latter carried out jointly with Ana Neves Almeida; and “Diário do Sul”, with the Gazeta Regional Press Prize. Lastly, the Gazeta Merit Prize was awarded to José Carlos Vasconcelos.
