Reis Abdullah II and Rania of Jordan in Belém
King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan, commenced a State Visit to Portugal, at the invitation of the President of the Republic and Mrs. Cavaco Silva. Upon arrival at the Palace of Belém the monarchs were greeted with military honours.
The two couples met prior to the meeting held between the President of the Republic and the King of Jordan, after which the two Heads of State held a Press Conference. The two couples then lunched on their own in the Palace Residence.
