Performance by the “Deolinda” Band
On the day when the anniversary of the proclamation of the Portuguese Republic, in 1910, was celebrated, the Palace of Belém was open to the public until 18.00 hours, offering the 9,300 people visiting it throughout the day a diversified number of events.
On show was an exhibition entitled "18 Presidents, one Palace and Many Other Things", in the gardens and in one of the galleries of the Palace of Belém, the Army Band performed continuously, an exhibition of circus arts was held, the dance project "Move Out Loud" was presented as well as two concerts of Portuguese music featuring the songstress Joana Pessoa and the "Deolinda" Band.
The Solemn Ceremony of Changing the Guard of Honour in the Palace of Belém, in Afonso de Albuquerque Square, took place at 15.00 hours.
