Joaquim Furtado received 2007 Gazette Prizes
The President of the Republic presided at the award ceremony of the 2007 Gazette prizes, annually attributed by the Journalists’ Club. The festive event took place during a dinner held in the headquarter building of Caixa Geral de Depósitos.
Award winners were Joaquim Furtado, with the 2007 Grand Gazette Prize for the series of broadcasts entitled “The War”, transmitted by RTP; João Luz, with the Gazette Revelation Prize for a set of articles published in the Magazine “Visão”; the weekly “O Mirante”, with the Gazette Regional Press Prize and, finally, Eduardo Gageiro, with the Gazette Merit Trophy.
