Meeting with Juvenile Appeal Associations
The President of the Republic attended a meeting with the Juvenile Associations of the Loures County Appeal Groupings.
A documentary film produced by the young people concerning the School and the neighbourhood was viewed during the meeting. The undertakings developed by the young people and their associations were simultaneously shown.
President Cavaco Silva also attended a theatrical play named as “The Next Season”, inspired in his Routes to Inclusiveness.
Later, two youngsters interpreted a HIP HOP tune related to Article 13 of the Constitution, which reflected their views on the principle of equality.
At the end of the meeting the President of the Republic made known his satisfaction for having watched, during the visit to the Appeal School, the knowledge of “good practices and good experiences” of social inclusiveness in that learning establishment.
