President Ricardo Martinelli received in Belém
In the beginning of the State Visit he is carrying out in Portugal, the President of the Republic of Panama, Ricardo Martinelli, held a meeting, in the Palace of Belém, with President Cavaco Silva.
After being the Jerónimos Monastery, where he laid a wreath on the Tomb of Luis Vaz de Camões, the President of the Republic of Panama arrived at the Palace of Belém, where he was received with military honours.
The President of the Republic and Mrs. Cavaco Silva held a meeting with the Panamanian President and his Wife, Mrs. Marta Linares de Martinelli, this being followed by a meeting between the two Heads of State, together with both retinues.
