Ceremony in the County Hall
The President of the Republic visited Alijó County, where he was welcomed at a ceremony held in the County Hall, and delivered an address Alluding to the event.
Later President Aníbal Cavaco Silva visited the Continuous Care Unit of the local Holy Almshouse, as well as the Health Centre.
