The President of the Republic received the Mayors of the various Districts and Autonomous Regions of the Country, with whom he met within the scope of the events commemorating the Centenary of the Establishment of the Republic in the Palace of Belém.
On the occasion, President Aníbal Cavaco Silva made a brief address to those present, amongst who were the Presidents and Vice-Presidents of the National Municipal Association and of the National Parish Association.
