Presidential lunch in Belem

President Cavaco Silva welcome the President of Ukraine on his official visit to Portugal

The President of the Republic welcomed the President of Ukraine, on his first official visit to Portugal.

Presidente Victor Yushchenko received military honours upon arrival at the Palace of Belém, after which he held a meeting with President Aníbal Cavaco Silva.

When the meeting ended, the two Presidents made declarations to the media, this being followed by lunch hosted by the President of the Republic and Mrs. Cavaco Silva in honour of the President of Ukraine and Mrs. Yushchenko.
