Mrs. Cavaco Silva visited, in the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, in Lisbon, the exhibition “The Education of the Prince. Masterpieces of the Collection of the Aga Khan Museum”.
Mrs. Cavaco Silva attended, in the Cardinal Medeiros Conference Centre, in the Portuguese Catholic University, in Lisbon, the Conference “The Bible, Basic Law of Western Culture, delivered by the President of the Pontifical Council for Culture, D. Gianfranco Ravasi.
Seminar in the Faculty of Architecture
Mrs. Cavaco Silva accompanied Queen Sonia of Norway to the Faculty of Architecture of Lisbon Technical University, located in the University Centre of Alto da Ajuda, where they attended the opening session of the Seminar on “Norwegian Architecture”.
Procession of Our Lady of the Sick
Mrs. Cavaco Silva attended the procession of Our Lady of the Sick, a religious festival of great tradition in Lisbon.
Mrs. Cavaco Silva officially opened the Exhibition of Paintings by António Cavaco Silva and Maria Inácio and also presided at the Dinner & Concert for fund gathering in favour of the Social and Community centre of Vale de Silves, in Boliqueime.
Exhibition in the Gulbenkian Galleries
Mrs. Cavaco Silva visited the exhibition on “Greek Taste”, on view in the Temporary Exhibition Galleries, in the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, in Lisbon.
Mrs. Cavaco Silva attended, in the João Paulo II University Library Building, in the Portuguese Católica University, in Lisbon, the launching ceremony of the book by Prof. Doctor Maria Manuela Lopes Cardoso, “Américo Monteiro de Aguiar – Anthropological, Axiological and Prophetic Dimensions of a Pedagogic Project”, presented by Professor Adriano Moreira.
Mrs. Cavaco Silva received, in audience, the President of Ópera Faber – Cultural Association of the North of Portugal, Carole Ludlow.
