Fair’s 20th anniversary
Mrs. Cavaco Silva attended the pre-inaugural act of the Lisbon Art and Antiques Fair, organized by the Portuguese Antique Dealers association and held in Cordoaria Nacional, Lisbon. Revenue will revert in favour of Laços Eternos (Eternal Bonds) – Bereaved Parents Aid Association.

In an event launched with the theme “The poem is a Greeting, the poem is a Farewell”, actors, musicians and singers performed on a stage installed in the Palace of Belém, in celebration of the World Poetry Day, a programme organized by Mrs. Cavaco Silva.

Mrs. Cavaco Silva attended the Opening of the International Conference “Narrative and Medicine: Care for the Future – Homage to João Lobo Antunes” organized by the English Studies Centre of the University of Lisbon, held in the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Lisbon.
IPSS in Carcavelos
Mrs. Cavaco Silva visited the Lar da Boa Vontade (Good Will Home), in Carcavelos, a Social Solidarity Private Institution (IPSS), dedicated to people affected by physical and motor diseases.
Audience in Belém
Mrs. Cavaco Silva received, in audience, designer Liliana Santos Vieira, who presented her project “Sintra by Liliana Vieira”, an artistic re-interpretation of national heritage, through the concept of crystal and ceramic objects.

Mrs. Cavaco Silva held, in the Palace of Belém, a social event with Ambassadresses of Portuguese Speaking and Latin American Countries with diplomatic representation in Portugal, the second of several events with the spouses of ambassadors from various world regions.
