Mrs. Cavaco Silva attended, in Maria II National Theatre, in Lisbon, the launching ceremony of the book “Normal women always have something exceptional”, by Isabel Canha.
Project presented in Belém
Mrs. Cavaco Silva received, in the Palace of Belém, the individuals responsible for the project “A home for Little John”, from São João Hospital, in Porto, who, accompanied by “Little John”, mad a presentation of the initiative.
Conference in Setúbal
Mrs. Cavaco Silva presided, in the Charlot Municipal Auditorium, in Setúbal, at the Opening Ceremony of the Portuguese Caritas National Conference, under the heading “Combating Poverty and Exclusion through Paths of Social Innovation”, during which she addressed a speech.
Visit to Humanus
Mrs. Cavaco Silva visited, in Lisbon the Humanus – Humanities Association.
Visit to the Coach Museum
Included in the Official Visit to Portugal of the President of the Republic of Guiné Bissau and his First Lady, Mrs. Cavaco Silva invited Mrs. Mariama Mané Sanhá to view the National Coach Museum.
Delivery of donations
Mrs. Cavaco Silva visited, in Figueira da Foz, the Cova Gala Social Centre where she attended the delivery of the proceeds from the sale of admission tickets and catalogues of the Exhibition “The Nativity Scene - Maria Cavaco Silva Collection”, to the referred institution.
Visit to Monastery
Mrs. Cavaco Silva visited the Monastery of Santa Clara-a-Velha, following the refurbishment work recently carried out.

On the occasion of the 2nd Campaign of the President of the Republic’s Route to the Innovatory Local Communities, which took place in the province of Beira Baixa, Mrs. Cavaco Silva visited the Tavares Proença Júnior Museum, in Castelo Branco, and the Home of Major Rato, in Alcains.
