Mrs. Cavaco Silva received, in audience, the President of the Portuguese Society of Digestive Endoscopy, Dr. Marie Isabelle Cremers, accompanied by Dr. Anabela Pinho.

Mrs. Cavaco Silva attended the ceremony where the Amália Rodrigues Foundation made donations to Institutions of Social Solidarity.
Visiting the facilities
On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Boavista Health Centre, in Porto, Mrs. Cavaco Silva visited the institutions, where she was received in a welcoming session and later toured its facilities.
Donation ceremony
Mrs. Cavaco Silva attended the presentation ceremony of the donation from the Aga Khan Network for Development towards the refurbishment of the ceiling of Silves Cathedral.
Bazaar donations handed to Aged Persons Support Institutions
Mrs. Cavaco Silva received, in the Palace of Belém, the participants in the 2009 Diplomatic Bazaar, who handed the respective proceeds to the beneficiary institutions of support to Aged Persons.
Audience in Belém
Mrs. Cavaco Silva received, in audience, a group of 50 women from the educational centres of the Lifelong Learning Project of Silves County Council, accompanied by the Mayor, Mrs. Isabel Soares, who visited the Museum of the Presidency of the Republic and the Palace of Belém.
Procession of Our Lady of the Sick
Mrs. Cavaco Silva attended the procession of Our Lady of the Sick, a religious festival of great tradition in Lisbon. The procession passed through various streets of Lisbon.
CEERDL Students
Mrs. Cavaco Silva visited, in Caldas da Rainha, the Rainha Dona Leonor Centre for Special Education (CEERDL), went through the several areas of activities and viewed exhibition of work produced by the users of the facilities.
Concert in the CCB
Mrs. Cavaco Silva presided at the Committee of Honour of the “Concerto em Festa” (“Party in Concert”), laying the corner stone of the future building of the Children’s Museum.
