Project presented in Belém
Mrs. Cavaco Silva received, in audience, the President of the Leiria Polytechnic Institute (IPL) Dr. Nuno Mangas, and the officer responsible for the respective Resource Centre for Digital Inclusion, Dr. Célia Sousa, who made a presentation of the project “A Thousand Toys for a Thousand Smiles”.

Concert in Estoril
Mrs. Cavaco Silva attended, in the Boa Nova Auditorium, Estoril, the concert performed by the “fado” songstress Katia Guerreiro accompanied by the Lower Normandy Orchestra.
Opening of Exhibition
Mrs. Cavaco Silva attended the official opening of the “Melodies of the Soul” exhibition, by Marta de Castro, on show in the Bozart Gallery, in Lisbon.
João de Deus Ramos received in audience
Mrs. Cavaco Silva received, in audience, Dr. João de Deus Ramos, great grandson of João de Deus.
Casa Sol
Following the separate programme of the State Visit to Portugal of the Grand Dukes of Luxembourg, and accompanied by Mrs. Cavaco Silva, the Grand Duchess of Luxembourg visited Casa Sol – Association for the Support of Children Infected with HIV/AIDS, in Lisbon, where she met with children under care and officials of the institution.
Visit to the Belém gardens
Within the programme of the State Visit that the Grand Dukes of Luxembourg are holding to Portugal, Mrs. Cavaco Silva accompanied Grand Duchess Maria Teresa on a visit to the Palace of Belém and to the Museum of the Presidency of the Republic.

Mrs. Cavaco Silva visited the “REVOLUTION 99/09” Exhibition, produced by the experimental design association, on view in the Palace of the Baron of Quintela and Count of Farrobo, in Lisbon.

Mrs. Cavaco Silva attended the performance of the musical show “La Cage aux Folles”, produced by Filipe La Féria, staged in the Arade Conference Centre, in Parchal, Lagoa.
