Event held in Alcoitão
Mrs. Cavaco Silva attended the 66th Edition of Christmas in Hospitals, which was held in the Alcoitão Centre for Medicine and Rehabilitation, in Estoril.
Visit to Foundation
Mrs. Cavaco Silva visited, in Buraca, Amadora, the AFID Difference Foundation, which promotes solidarity between Portuguese families in defence of the rights and integration of Handicapped People, Youngsters under Social Risk, Aged People and Children.
Father Alegre Cottolengo
Mrs. Cavaco Silva visited the Home of the Serving Sisters of Jesus of the Father Alegre Cottolengo, together with her granddaughter Mariana.
Opening of exhibition
Mrs. Cavaco Silva presided at the opening, in the Palace of Belém, of the exhibition “Oh My Child Jesus” – that includes crèches from the Canha da Silva collection and sculptures and paintings from the Padre Belo House Museum. The exhibition will remain open to the public until 6 January 2011.
IPO Anniversary
Mrs. Cavaco Silva attended the celebrations of the 50th Anniversary of the Paediatric Department of the Portuguese Institute of Oncology, in Lisbon.
Aid delivery
Mrs. Cavaco Silva presided, in the BES Art & Finance Space, in Lisbon, at the ceremony of aid delivery “2010 Quality of Living Action”, promoted by the Salvador Association which, with the sponsorship of several donors, aided 16 beneficiaries, who, on the occasion, expressed their appreciation.
Opening of exhibition
Mrs. Cavaco Silva presided, in the Porto Holy Almshouse, at the inaugural act of the Exhibition “The Crèche – Maria Cavaco Silva Collection”, which shows more than 150 national and foreign pieces from her personal collection.

Mrs. Cavaco Silva visited, in the Alcobaça Monastery, the exhibition “Ana Maria Botelho – Retrospective of a 50 year Career”, commissioned by actor Ruy de Carvalho.

Mrs. Cavaco Silva visited the “My Lisbon” exhibition of paintings by Jacinto Luís, on show in the Estoril Casino Art Gallery.
Fair open to the Public in the Lisbon Conference Centre
Mrs. Cavaco Silva presided at the opening of the “Rastrillo” Solidarity Fair, promoted by the New Future Association, which provides aid to welcoming shelters for children and young people. The event is taking place in the Former Lisbon International Fair, in the Junqueira quarter.
