Concert in Cáceres
Mrs. Cavaco Silva attended, in Santa Maria Concathedral, in Cáceres, Spain, the Christmas Concert that was held there, in the presence of the Speaker of the Extremadura Parliament, Fernando Manzano, of the city’s Mayor, Elena Nevado, and of the Vicar General of the Cora-Cáceres Diocese, Don Antonio Fuentes Caballero.
Visiting Portalegre
Mrs. Cavaco Silva visited the Portalegre Tapestry Manufacturing facility and attended the placing on the loom of the first Portalegre tapestry designed by artist Joana Vasconcelos, a work that will be included in her first exhibition, to be held in the Palace of Versailles, in France.
Centre for the Recovery of Minors
Mrs. Cavaco Silva visited, in Assumar, Monforte the D. Manuel Trindade Salgueiro Centre for the Recovery of Underage Persons, of the Vaquinhas and Velez do Peso Foundation.
Audience in Belém
Mrs. Cavaco Silva received, in audience, the officers of the Liga (Helpline) Foundation – Centre of Social Resources, whose mission is the social inclusion of disadvantaged people of all ages, especially chronic sick and handicapped people, as well as their Families.
Exhibition in the Palace of Ajuda
Mrs. Cavaco Silva attended, in the Palace of Ajuda, the opening of the Exhibition “25 Years of Acquisitions and Donations”.
Actress honoured
Mrs. Cavaco Silva attended the performance of the Play “Siege of Leningrad”, by José Sanchís Sinistera, in the celebration of the 70 year career of Eunice Muñoz as an actress and was shown in the Oeiras Municipal Theatre that bears her name.
Our Lady of Boa Nova Community Centre
Mrs. Cavaco Silva attended the opening of the Solidarity Fair of the Estoril Parish Centre, held in the Our Lady of Boa Nova Community Centre, in Estoril.

Mrs. Cavaco Silva attended, in the Lisbon Conference Centre, the opening of the “O Rastrillo” Solidarity Fair, promoted by the New Future Association.
