Ancestral art exhibited in Santiago
In Santiago, when accompanying the official visit of the President of the Republic to Chile, Mrs. Cavaco Silva visited The Chilean Museum of Pre-Colombian Art.
Gala dinner
Mrs. Cavaco Silva delivered a speech at a gala dinner in favour of the National Programme for Tracing of Breast Cancer “Gala for Hope”, held in the residence of the Ambassador of the United States of America.
Praise to women’s resistance
On the occasion of the Breast Cancer International Month, Mrs. Cavaco Silva paid tribute to the resistance of Portuguese women.
Alfredo da Costa Maternity Hospital
Mrs. Cavaco Silva attended the donation ceremony “One Euro for One Life Campaign” dedicated to the refurbishment of a care clinic for premature babies. The ceremony took place in Alfredo da Costa Maternity Hospital, in Lisbon.
A.N.D.A.R. Conference
Mrs. Cavaco Silva presided at the opening session of the "Paradigms of Rheumatoid Arthritis" Conference, promoted by the National Association of Patients of Rheumatoid Arthritis (A.N.D.A.R.), during which she delivered a speech.
Jewellery Exhibition in Belém
Mrs. Cavaco Silva presided at the jury which selected the works of art created by the young artists who took part in the competition dedicated to “Jewellery and National Symbols”.
Visit to the Museum of the Presidency of the Republic
Mrs. Cavaco Silva guided Madam Maria Auxiliadora Delgado de Vázquez on a visit to the Museum of the Presidency of the Republic, on the occasion of the official visit to Portugal of the President of Uruguay, Hon. Tabaré Vázquez.
Gala Dinner
Mrs. Maria Cavaco Silva attended the Gala Dinner held for the benefit of the Aboim Ascensão Home, which took place in the Vilamoura Casino.
Visit to “Existir”
Mrs. Maria Cavaco Silva visited, in Loulé, the institution Existir – Association for the Intervention of Retarded and Disabled People.
