On the occasion of the meeting that the President of the Republic held, in Munich, with the Minister-President of Bavaria, Horst Seehofer, Mrs. Cavaco Silva, in the company of Mrs. Karin Seehofer, visited the Museum of the Official Residence, in Max Joseph III Square, in the centre of the Bavarian capital.
Jewish Holocaust Memorial Site
On the occasion of the State Visit of the President of the Republic to Germany, Mrs. Cavaco Silva visited, in Berlin, the Jewish Holocaust Memorial Site.
Introduction of a book
Mrs. Cavaco Silva attended, at the invitation of the Portuguese Federation of Rare Diseases (FEDRA), the presentation of a book named “Rare Diseases from A to Z”. The ceremony, which was held in the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, is included in the celebration of the European Day of Rare Diseases.

Mrs. Cavaco Silva took part in the ceremony celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Luso-German Charity Association - ABLA.

Mrs. Cavaco Silva addressed a speech at the presentation to the public of the Microsoft “Imagine Cup 2009” Competition, to which she has given her High Patronage.
