Mrs. Cavaco Silva attended. in the National Palace of Ajuda, to the launching ceremony of the book named “Portuguese Pottery – XVIII-XIX Centuries – Pereira de Sampaio Collection”.
Visit to Exhibition
Mrs. Cavaco Silva visited, in Belém Cultural Centre, the exhibition of paintings “Breath of Life” by Gil Teixeira Lopes.
Anniversary celebration
Mrs. Cavaco Silva presided at the celebration of the 12th anniversary of the Salvation Army Welcome Centre for the Homeless.
The celebration was held at the headquarters of that institution for social solidarity.
Prizes Award
Mrs. Cavaco Silva presided, in the Head Offices of Montepio Geral, at the award ceremony of the “Montepio School Prize” where she delivered a speech.
Visit to Miguel Torga School
Following the separate programme included in the State Visit to Portugal of the Jordanian Monarchs, and together with Mrs. Cavaco Silva, Queen Rania visited the 2nd & 3rd Cycle Miguel Torga Basic School, in Amadora, where she met children included in the “Project Generation/Opportunity”
Queen in the Coach Museum
As part of the State Visit to Portugal of the King and Queen of Jordan, Mrs. Cavaco Silva guided Queen Rania through the National Coach Museum.
Ana Paula Santos visited the Museum of the Presidency
Included in the programme of the State Visit to Portugal of the President of Angola, José Eduardo dos Santos, his wife, Ana Paula Santos, visited the Museum of the Presidency of the Republic, in Belém, in the company of Mrs. Cavaco Silva.
9th Active Woman Prize
Mrs. Cavaco Silva attended the award ceremony of the 9th edition of the “Active Woman” Prize, which was held in Armando Cortez Theatre, in Lisbon.
Launch ceremony
Mrs. Cavaco Silva attended, in the Electric Power Museum, in Lisbon, the launching of the catalogue for the Exhibition “Outdoors”, which contains graphic images of the show.
