Handing of donations

Donations for the “Senior Citizens’ Home” of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Poor

Mrs. Cavaco Silva visited the “Senior Citizens’ Home” of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Poor, in Campolide, Lisbon, for the granting of donations.

Mrs. Cavaco Silva awarded two donations to the institution: one resulting from the sales of tickets for the initiative “Nights of Light”, held in the Gardens of the Palace of Belém and organized jointly by the Museum of the Presidency of the Republic and CTT – Correios de Portugal; the other, resulting from the profits on the sale of CD which recorded the 2012 Edition of the Evening of Poetry, also held in the Palace of Belém.
