São João da Madeira Holy Almshouse

 

Mrs. Cavaco Silva received, in audience, the Purveyor of the São João da Madeira Holy Almshouse, Dr. José Antonio de Araújo Pais Vieira, together with the members of its Board and sculptor Filomena Conceição Almeida, promoter of the “Feltrando” Project.

 

A project of social entrepreneurialism developed by the Holy Almshouse, “Feltrando” is addressed to drug addicted and alcoholic persons undertaking recovery.
