Prize for Maria Antónia Machado
Mrs. Cavaco Silva attended the presentation ceremony of the 12th edition of the 2011 Active Woman Prize, attributed by “Activa” Magazine.
The ceremony was held in Pestana Palace Hotel, in Lisbon, with the 2011 Active Woman Prize given by Mrs. Cavaco Silva to Maria Antónia Machado, who was distinguished due to her voluntary work in the Portuguese Cancer Institute – Porto, in the area of continuous care.
On the occasion a speech was delivered by Mrs. Cavaco Silva.
