Mrs. Cavaco Silva attended the Lecture on “The campaign of the English chocolate manufacturers against S. Tomé cocoa beans” addressed by Dr. João Pedro Xavier de Brito.

Included in the Cycle of Lectures based on the theme “The Republic and Portuguese Overseas Possessions: 1910-1926”, this lecture is also part of the Programme of the Commemorations of the Centenary of the Proclamation of the Republic in Portugal.
