Imagine Cup 2009

Award of Prizes for the Microsoft 2009 Imagine Cup Competition

Mrs. Cavaco Silva took part, in the Culturgest auditorium, Lisbon, in the prize award ceremony of the 2009 Imagine Cup Prizes, an international competition for students organized by Microsoft, with the objective to encourage creativity and technological innovation.

The topic of the competition in the current year was the application of technology in the resolution of the planet’s more complex social issues, which benefited from the cooperation of several Non Government Organizations.

Mrs. Cavaco Silva addressed a speech on the occasion.
