Mrs. Cavaco Silva visited the Diocesan Caritas of Madeira, where she became acquainted with the Institution’s activities and met with the staff and voluntary workers.

Later, the First Lady visited the Flower Market in the City of Funchal, and then went on to lunch at Quinta do Arco, in the Vila do Arco de São Jorge, where she viewed the Rose Garden.
