Handicapped People international Day

Mrs. Cavaco Silva attended, in the Colombo Shopping Centre, the showing of the film “The Birth of Christ”, filmed in a special format dedicated to persons with specific needs.

Prior to this, the First Lady was briefed on the characteristics of this innovative project, which consists of a DVD prepared for persons with specific needs (deaf, blind or affected by amblyopia. It thus combines sign language with audio description and captions.
