DIARY OF THE VISIT

President inaugurates exhibition of contemporary Portuguese painting in New Delhi
The President of the Republic inaugurated an exhibition of contemporary Portuguese painting at the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts as a part of the programme of his State Visit to India.

The exhibition, entitled “Design: Drawings and a Sculpture”, includes works belonging to the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation’s Modern Art Centre by several artists. It was organised by the Centre’s curator, Jorge Molder, while Leonor Nazaré co-ordinated the setting up.
