President Armando Guebuza received in Belém
Beginning the visit he is holding to Portugal, the President of the Republic of Mozambique, Armando Guebuza, held a meeting with President Cavaco Silva.
The President of the Republic of Mozambique, Armando Guebuza, and his Wife, Mrs. Maria da Luz Guebuza, will visit Portugal from 1 to 3 July, at the invitation of President Cavaco Silva.
The President of the Republic called a meeting of the Council of State, in the terms of the second part of item e) of article no. 145 of the Constitution.
The meeting will be held on 3 July 2014, at 17:30 hours, and the topic on the agenda will be “Economic, social and political situation, following the completion of the Adjustment Programme and with regard to the 2014-2020 Partnership Agreement between Portugal and the European Union relative to the Structural Funds”.
Sintra Villa Palace
The President of the Republic and Mrs. Cavaco Silva attended, in the Villa palace, Sintra, a reception hosted in their honour by the President of the German federal Republic and Mrs. Daniela Schadt.
Visit to Automobile Works in Palmela
The President of the Republic, together with the president of the Federal Republic of Germany, Joachim Gauck, held a visit to the facilities of Autoeuropa, in Palmela.
Ajuda National Palace
On the occasion of the State Visit to Portugal of the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Joachim Gauck and Mrs. Daniela Schadt, the President of the Republic and Mrs. Cavaco Silva hosted a dinner in Ajuda National Palace, at the beginning of which President Cavaco Silva and his German counterpart delivered speeches.
Conference in Belem Cultural Centre
The Presidents of the Republics of Portugal and Germany attended the closure, in Lisbon, of the 60th Year Conference of the Luso-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, occurred on the occasion of the State Visit to Portugal of the German Head of State.
King D. Felipe VI of Spain and Queen D. Letizia will pay a Visit to Portugal on 7 July next, at the invitation of President Cavaco Silva.
President Joachim Gauck received in Belém
At the beginning of the State Visit he is holding in Portugal, the President of the German Federal Republic, Joachim Gauck, met with President Cavaco Silva in the Palace of Belém.
The President of the Republic sent a congratulatory message to cyclist Rui Costa for his third consecutive victory in the Tour de Suisse.
