Refurbished Museum
The President of the Republic presided at the ceremony celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Museum of the Presidency of the Republic, now reopened after the renovation of its exhibiting features.
Ambassador Cristina Almeida
The President of the Republic received, in audience, Ambassador Cristina Almeida, to present her with letters credential as Portuguese diplomatic representative in Kiev, Ukraine.
The Presidency of the Republic publishes the following announcement:
“In the terms of Article No. 133, item h) of the Constitution the President of the Republic discharged, at his request and upon a proposal of the Prime Minister, Prof. Doctor Francisco Ramos Lopes Gomes da Silva from the office of discharged Secretary of State of Forestry and Rural Development”.
Audience in Belém
The President of the Republic received, in audience, a delegation from the Social Democrat Party (PSD), who presented the report “For a child, family and birth friendly Portugal”.
Included in the celebrations of the anniversary of the establishment of the Republic, the Presidency of the Republic will host, on 5 October instant, in the gardens of the Palace of Belém, a presentation of the “Portugal Is Me” initiative, whose main objective is the increase in value of Portuguese products and companies in several sectors of activity.
The Museum of the Presidency of the Republic completes ten years of activity and, within the scope of the celebration of the anniversary of establishing the Republic, reopens on 5 October instant, after the refurbishment of its exhibiting model.

The Bom Jesus, in Braga
The participating Heads of State of the X Informal Meeting of the Arraiolos Group completed the working schedule of the meeting with a lunch hosted by the Mayor of Braga, Dr. Ricardo rio, in the Colonnade, in the Bom Jesus area.
Declarations to journalists
At the end of the two days of discussions of the Informal Meeting of the Arraiolos Group Heads of State, the Presidents of Portugal and of the participating countries granted a press conference to present the results of the meetings.
Third meeting in Tibães
In the third and last plenary session of the X Informal Meeting of the Arraiolos Group Heads of State, held in Tibães Monastery, Braga, the Presidents of the participating countries discussed the role of research and innovation in the promotion of growth, competitiveness and job creation.
