Homage in the Gulbenkian Foundation
The President of the Republic presided at the Closure of the Conference “José Medeiros Ferreira – the citizen, the politician, the historian”, held in the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, in Lisbon, where he delivered an address.
Ceremony in Coruña
The President of the Republic and King Felipe VI of Spain took part, in Coruña, in the award ceremony of the 2015 Atlantic Axis Gold Medals of the Peninsular Northeast.
Emphasis on Portuguese language
The President of the Republic attended, in Coruña, along with the President of the Galician Junta, Alberto Nuñez Feijó, the subscription ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding on the Adoption of Portuguese as an Optional Foreign Language and Curricular Assessment in the Non-University Educational System of the Autonomous Community of Galicia.

Decoration ceremony
The President of the Republic paid tribute to several individualities connected with Viniculture, in a ceremony held in Porto, in the Institute of Douro and Port Wines.
Arouca Meteorological Radar
The President of the Republic presided at the inaugural ac, in Arouca, of the North Portugal Meteorological Radar, the most modern facility in the network of the Portuguese Institute of Sea and Atmosphere.
National teams in training
During a trip to the county of Anadia, the President of the Republic presided at the inaugural act of the Sangalhos Educational Centre and visited the Anadia High Sports Performance Centre.
Federica Mogherini received by the President
The President of the Republic received, in audience, the European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Ms. Federica Mogherini.
Ambassador José Júlio Pereira Gomes
The President of the Republic received, in audience, Ambassador José Júlio Pereira Gomes, to hand him the letters credential as Portugal’s diplomatic representative in Stockholm, Sweden.
