18th edition of the Conference on Communications
The President of the Republic presided, in the Lisbon Conference Centre, at the Opening Session of the 18th edition of the Conference on Communications, subordinated to the theme “ICT and Climatic Change”, promoted by the Portuguese association for the Development of Communications (APDC), where he addressed a speech.

Decorations awarded in Belém
The President of the Republic decorated with the Grand Cross of the Order of Sant’Iago da Espada Prof. Doctor Daniel Serrão, Dr. Jorge Biscaia and Prof. Doctor Walter Osswald, at the same time as he paid tribute to Prof. Doctor Luís Archer, who had already been awarded the same distinction.
