The President of the Republic decorates 16 athletes and the Portuguese Olympic and Paralympic Committees in the Tribute to National Sports that he is promoting on 27 May, which will be attended by athletes, leaders and technicians of all the different sports activities.
All those decorated will be awarded grades and titles of the Order of Prince Henry the Navigator.
The President of the Republic will promote, on 27 May instant, a Tribute to National Sport, with the presence of athletes, officers and technicians of all types of sports activities, both Olympic and Paralympic.
Committee received by the President
The President of the Republic received, in audience, the Organizing Committee of the National Day of Portugal, Camões and the Portuguese Communities, whose members he later hosted at lunch.
Audience in Belém
The President of the Republic received, in audience, the Governing Officers of the Union of the Public Prosecution Service Magistrates.
The President of the Republic enacted Parliamentary Bill no. 320/XII, which approves the “Second alteration to Law No. 62/98, dated 1 September, which rules the provision comprised in Article No. 82 of the Code on Copyright and Connected Rights, on the fair compensation regarding private copying”, and addressed a message to Parliament.

Inaugural ceremony
The President of the Republic presided at the inaugural act of the new building of the National Coach Museum, having attended a performance of six trumpets and one kettledrum of the Royal Brass Ensemble and viewed the two aisles where coaches, berlins and landaus were exhibited.
Presentation of letters credential
The President of the Republic received letters credential from new Ambassadors in Portugal.
Audience with ADFA
The President of the Republic received in audience, the Governing Officers of the Association of Handicapped Servicemen of the Armed Forces (ADFA).
Audience in Belém
The President of the Republic received, in audience, the Governing Officers of the Union of Portuguese Magistrates.
Closing Session of Routes to the Future
The President of the Republic presided at the closure of the international conference “Portugal and its Youth – New Trends, New Hope”, which he promoted in Lisbon, within the scope of the Routes to the Future initiative, underlining the challenges which will be faced by the new generations.
