Miguel Day Centre of the Cascais Holy Almshouse and of ABARCA (Leisure, Cultural and Assistance Association of Barro Township).

The President of the Republic and Mrs. Cavaco Silva assisted, in Belém Cultural Centre, to the performance of the Beethoven 2008 Vienna Concert, played by the Portuguese Chamber Orchestra, evoking the 200th anniversary of the concert held on 22 December1808, held in the Austrian capital city. The Orchestra was conducted by maestro Pedro Carneiro.

The President of the Republic and Mrs. Cavaco Silva met, in the Palace of Belém, with managers, staff members and dwellers of sheltered housing for victims of domestic violence, from all over the country.
