Handel's opera "Theodora"
The President of the Republic, together with his Austrian counterpart Heinz Fischer, attended, in the Grosses Festspielhaus the opening performance of the 2009 Salzburg Festival, the opera "Theodora", by Georg Friedrich Händel.
The President of the Republic sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, upon his re-election to office.

Meeting with the media
The President of the Republic, while in Salzburg, held a meeting with Portuguese media representatives who accompanied his Official Visit to Austria, approaching several points concerning the political contacts held with the Austrian authorities, as well as the events which he attended.
President meets with the Austrian Chancellor
