Addressing the Forum
On the second day of his visit to the Autonomous Community of Catalonia, the President of the Republic attended the inaugural act of the Barcelona Iberian Forum, during which he delivered an address to the participants.

The President of the Republic and Mrs. Cavaco Silva will carry out a visit to the Autonomous Community of Catalonia on 4 and 5 March instant, to be followed by a Visit to the Portuguese Community resident in the Principality of Andorra, from 5 to 7 March.

Show in the Lisbon Coliseum
The President of the Republic and Mrs. Cavaco Silva attended, in the Lisbon Coliseum, the show of solidarity “A Flower for Madeira”, which promoted a collection of funds for the reconstruction work in that Autonomous Region, following the devastation sustained by the storms which occurred there.
The President of the Republic addressed a message of condolences to his Chilean counterpart Michelle Bachelet over the victims of the earthquake which occurred in Chile today.
