Decoration ceremony
The President of the Republic completed, in Macieira de Cambra, eight campaigns of the Route to a Dynamic Economy, presiding at a decoration ceremony of 14 entrepreneurs which are expressive of dynamism in the economy.
President Cavaco Silva delivered a speech at the closing session held in the Macieira de Cambra Cultural Centre.
Later, the President awarded decorations to the following individualities: Agostinho da Silva, Álvaro Gouveia and Fernando Sousa, all from CEI, were decorated with the grade of Commanders of the Order of Entrepreneurial Merit – Class of Industrial Merit.
Also decorated with the same grade and Order were Paula Roque (Revigrés), Avelino Gaspar (Lusiaves), Benjamim Santos (Indasa), João Carlos Novo (Motofil), José Carlos Martins da Silva (JPM), Manuel Tarré (Gelpeixe, Paulo Dunões (Kerion), Pedro Araújo (Polisport) and Samuel Delgado (Solancia).
João Silva (Távora Wine Production Cooperative Society) and João Paulo Crespo (Fertiprado) were awarded the grade of Commander of the Order of Entrepreneurial Merit – Class of Agricultural Merit.
