Meeting in Rome
The President of the Republic met, in Rome, with the Portuguese entrepreneurs taking part in the X Europa COTEC Meeting, which was held in the Italian capital.
At the meeting, which took place in the Residence of the Portuguese Embassy in Rome, President Cavaco Silva delivered an initial address, followed by a discussion amongst the Portuguese entrepreneurs over the challenges faced by their activities and by the importance of an effective liaison between universities and companies, aided by the innovation factor in enhancing the development of the economy.
