Meeting in Penha Longa, Sintra
Approximately twenty entrepreneurial leaders from all over the world and a similar number of Portuguese met in Penha Longa, Sintra, for the 2nd Meeting of the Globalization Council, an initiative of the President of the Republic.
President Aníbal Cavaco Silva and the President of the European Commission, José Manuel Durão Barroso, were the first speakers; the meeting will continue during the whole day and will discuss strategies for the 21st century, innovation in a global world and the role of the private equities.
At the end of the meeting, the President of the Republic made an appraisal of the meeting during a press conference, in the company of the President of COTEC – Entrepreneurial Association for Innovation, Artur Santos Silva.
