Visits to Impetus and Scoop
The President of the Republic began, in Barcelos, Braga, with a visit to the company named Impetus, the 4th Campaign of his Route to a Dynamic Economy, totally dedicated to the Textile and Clothing Industry.
After a presentation of the Company’s activities, President Cavaco Silva viewed an exhibition showing how the publicity of its products had evolved, and then visiting the conceptual, production and marketing areas.
Later, in Vila Nova de Famalicão, the President was received in the company entitled Scoop, where he viewed a presentation of its business activities, which was then followed by a visit to its design, cutting and processing facilities.
Later still, in Casa do Outeirinho resort, the Mayor of Vila Nova de Famalicão hosted a luncheon in the honour of the President of the Republic.
