President of the Republic called meeting of Council of State for 26 January

The President of the Republic received, in audience, delegations from the political parties represented in the Legislative Assembly of the Madeira Autonomous Region, having heard their views on the political situation following the resignation of the Madeira Regional Government.

After the hearing of the political parties had been completed, in the constitutional and legal terms, the President of the Republic decided to call a meeting of the Council of State to be held on 26 January instant, at 17:00 hours.
