Iberian American leaders debated Innovation on second day of Mexico Summit

On the second day of the XXIV Iberian American Summit of Heads of State and of Government, the leaders of this Community debated the importance of innovation in their countries’ development processes.

At the end of this session, during which the Portuguese Prime Minister delivered an address, the President of Mexico and of the Summit, Enrique Peña Nieto, thanked on behalf of the Iberian American Community the contributions given by President Cavaco Silva, since its foundation in 1991, when he headed the Government, until the present date.

Before this, during the delegates’ Seclusion, held in private, the Iberian American leaders approached themes related to Youth and the challenges it is facing, during which the President of the Republic addressed those present on Portuguese experiences in this area.
