In the terms of item h) of article no. 133 of the Constitution, the President of the Republic accepted the proposal presented by the Prime Minister for the discharge, at his request, of Dr. João Henrique de Carvalho Dias Grancho from the office of Secretary of State for Basic and Secondary Education.
In the terms of the same constitutional ruling, the President of the Republic accepted the Prime Minister’s proposal for the appointment to the same office of Prof. Doctor José Egídio Reis.
The President of the Republic will empower the new member of the Government tomorrow, 21 October, at 17:00 hours, in the Palace of Belém.
