The President of the Republic requested from the Constitutional Court preventive supervision on the constitutionality of two Parliamentary bills.
Regarding this decision, the Presidency of the Republic publishes the following communiqué:
1 - The President of the Republic sent to the Constitutional Court, on this date, for the purposes of preventive supervision of constitutionality, Parliamentary Decrees nos. 262/XII and 264/XII.
2 – Specifically, the supervision of constitutionality was raised concerning the rules contained in articles nos. 2, 4 and 6 of Decree no. 262/XII and the rules contained in articles nos. 2 and 4 of Decree no. 264/XII.
3 – The President of the Republic requested from the Constitutional Court the supervision of the rules contained in these Decrees considering the constitutional principles of equality and protection of trust, in order to ensure that the applying of such rulings is accompanied by the necessary juridical security and that no doubts subsist as to their conformity with the Fundamental Law (Constitution)
